Sophie and Iggy

Check out the slimmer girls! They've been on a diet since coming into rescue, and they're starting to get thier Iggy figures back!

Sophie and Iggy are 10-year-old litter mates, who came into rescue because of a change in their living situation and no fault of their own. They're very sweet little girls, who are no trouble to have around.

Sophie is a little spunkier and more energetic. She loves to greet you when you get up in the morning, and loves to be petted, but isn't a big fan of getting on the furniture with you. She sleeps on a dog bed or under the bed, and is very happy there. She's learning to sit for treats (which consist of 1 or 2 pieces of dry dog food), and beginning to get the idea of what "sit" means. She has a minor skin condition which needs medication off and on when it gets dry and itchy.

Iggy (Igger Pigger) is more of a cuddler, and loves to be on the chair or in bed with you. She needs help getting up on furniture, but stays where she's put once she's there. Both girls are a little overweight, and will be more energetic when they have less to carry. They're on small portions of senior food currently, and doing well. They both are very good about asking to go out, or going out when asked. They're working on housetraining when they're home for a period of time, and doing pretty well with it. They walk and potty well on leash, and love rides in the car. They've been together all their lives, and seek each other out to cuddle or for comfort when they're stressed. It would be wonderful if they found a forever home where they could stay together. They are located in southern Indiana and will be available for adoption to in state of Indiana or bordering states.
