Trinity is blue and white, ~18" at the shoulder. Says Trinity's foster Mom: 'I compete in agility and obedience and this is one of the most athletic, high-drive IGs I've ever met. He has the potential to be a national-level agility, obedience, or lure-coursing dog. He also could probably do frisbee with some training. Like Cosby, he is a very, very high energy dog and Trinity will need a job. This is not your typical couch potato IG. I would love to see him go to a performance home. While Trinity is very active and boisterous, he is a very soft and sweet guy. He will need to be trained with POSITIVE methods only. Any harsh commands, spanking, or rough handling would be devastating to this lovely dog. Just teach him what you want and he will do it! Trinity is very good with other dogs but can be a bit bossy. He readily listens to appropriate older dogs though, so he would be fine in a house with dogs that 'play well with others'. Mine all think he is wonderful and he is terrific with them. We've mostly noticed he is a bit bossy with Cosby.
Trinity wants to play with other dogs ALL THE TIME, so the resident dogs need to be very playful or understanding of an exuberant pup. If you're willing to put the time and love into this fantastic dog you will be rewarded many times over. He is just waiting for a home who appreciates a high energy, funny guy who loves to please. Be ready to keep busy! Cosby's potty habits are very good. He will not go in his crate and knows to go outside. He also might mark in the house (also neutered later), but again, he is such a sweet dog looking for guidance that we're sure he'll stop doing this very soon. He so wants to be a good boy and receive praise. He's very easy to teach anything. Trinity is also very, very outgoing with people. He loves EVERYONE. He hasn't been around kids but I imagine with older kids (>5 and watched by an adult!) he would be fine. Trinity loves to play with toys and play fetch and tug. He loves a good, fun game of tug more than just about anything and he and I have some great tug sessions. Very fun guy! Trinity is located in Indiana and will be adopted within state or to states bordering Indiana.
