- Autumn Gold
- Oliver (left) and Cleo (right) are two beautiful Rhodesian Ridgebacks owned by Rhodesian Ridgeback Rescue Contact Jody Young. Oliver was a rescue, and is very loving and friendly. Cleo is a little more aloof, though loves her people very much.
- Characteristics
- Like all Sighthounds, the Rhodesian Ridgebacks love to run and have a very strong hunting instinct. They are very playful, and love to cuddle under the blankets just like their smaller cousins in the Sighthound group.
- Elsa
- Elsa is an adorable, shy foster who stayed with Jody until she was adopted. In the photo at the right, you can see on Elsa's back the ridge which is one of the most distinguishing characteristics of this noble breed. - The Panther
- Oliver has been adopted as the mascot for the Snider High School Cross-Country Team. The school's mascot is the Panther, and their teams are called the Snider Panthers.
- Ridgeback Wanna-Be?
- Roxy, the Raccoon, adopted the Young family this past spring when she and her litter-mates were found abandoned near the Young home. The babies were so young that they didn't even have their eyes open. Roxy is the only one that survived. Under Jody's loving care and the Ridgebacks' watchful eyes, Roxy matured to the point where she was able to be released back into the woods, under supervision of the family's veterinarian.
